This will be the last year that we can run on these grounds, as they are to be converted to a cattle operation later this year and will fenced and crossfenced thus not suitable for our use. Do not despair, there are more grounds available in the general area and we are planning to use them in the future.

A SPECIAL NOTE:

HERE are the brace sheets for the trial. Will also have some at the Yellow Tin Building (Clubhouse).
Sheri Hudson will be holding down the fort on Friday along with Jan Savelkoul (Dog Wagon).
Lunch will be served also on Friday by Mr. Harrell.
Anyone that can help with bird planting on Friday, please beg Sheri to let you help!!
(Remember – any changes to brace sheet will be noted at the Clubhouse master sheet).

DIRECTIONS to LARAMORE FARMS & TRIAL GROUNDS

  • Take Interstate 75 South to Exit 101 (Hwy 280/Cordele)
  • Turn right off exit ramp and go 20.3 miles
  • Turn left on 195 South (across street from country restaurant)
  • Follow 195S for 7.3 miles and turn left on Batts Rd (dirt road - look for the Field Trial Sign)
  • Go 1.4 miles and bear right at fork in road (watch for Field Trial sign)
  • Continue for 2.7 miles until you see the farm/bldg on right

FACILITIES

CAMPING

We will have an enclosed barn area to use for clubhouse so we will be out of the elements. Porta-Potties will be brought in for your convenience.

Camping on the grounds will be allowed. There are no hook ups or dump tanks available.

WATER

MEALS

Water for dogs and horses will be available on the grounds. Bring your own water for human consumption.

Food served on grounds at lunch by Mr. Harrell for nominal fee on Sat. and Sunday.
Happy Hour provided on Sat. night by GBC club – Mr. Harrell to serve food for everyone.

HORSES WAIVER

Due to insurance regulations, we WILL NOT have rental horses available. You must make your own arrangements if you wish to use a horse.
We accept and encourage foot handling.

 

 Participation in the trial, either through entering or observance of the trial constitutes a waiver of liability to the Georgia Brittany Club, its officers, directors, and members, i.e., they are in no way responsible and cannot be held liable for any accidents involving anyone attending the trial, their horses, dogs, birds and/or equipment.
